The GPOA dos not maintain the landscaping in Greenbrae. Landscaping maintenance and upgrades (of entrances, medians, & islands) are handled by the CSA16. Each parcel in Greenbrae pays through their property taxes $150 per year for landscaping maintenance and improvements. Those funds are delegated by the CSA 16. This current parcel tax collects approximately $200,000 per year, which is the same amount that has been charged per parcel since 1995.
The GPOA is however active in communication to homeowners with landscaping improvements they can make to improve their personal and community fire safety, as well as with suggested sustainable and attractive landscaping that thrives in the Greenbrae climate.
